Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions people ask most before they take a seat at the table.
What is Symboulion?
A shared table for the members of one cluster. People from companies, universities and institutions run working groups, topics, tasks, minutes and votes here. AI takes notes and reminds, the work and the decisions stay with people.
Who can take a seat at the table?
Only people the cluster invites. Cluster representatives import the member list and every person gets a personal invitation by email. On the way in, each person checks their details and accepts the rules of the table.
How do I sign in? Do I need a password?
There is no password. You enter your email and receive a link that is valid for 15 minutes and works only once. The link signs you in only when you press the button, so programs that scan your mail cannot use it up.
Does AI make decisions?
No. AI drafts minutes and reports, and they count only once a person confirms them, with that person's name recorded. People decide on admitting members, on votes and on disputed messages.
Which languages does it support?
Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Croatian in Latin script, and English. Both languages are equal from day one, and you switch the language at the top right.
How does voting work?
The group leader opens a vote on a proposal. You vote on the page or with one click from an email, on a signed link for, against or abstain. A reply to an email is never read as a vote. You can change your vote until it closes.
What if the quorum is not met?
The decision stands, with a note on how many people voted out of those eligible. The quorum is more than half, and a group can set it differently.
How do meeting minutes arrive?
The organiser forwards the AI recap from Teams, Google Meet or Zoom to the group address. It becomes draft minutes with tasks. The group leader corrects and confirms them. Symboulion does not record or transcribe audio.
What if my message is put on hold?
You get an explanation of which rule is involved. You can edit the message or ask people to take a look. AI never punishes. Sanctions, if any, are decided by cluster representatives.
Who sees my data?
Only members of the cluster. Your photo is shown only with your consent, and you add a hobby under Off the table only if you want to. Member data does not leave the cluster, that is rule 6.
Can I see deadlines in my own calendar?
Yes. Create your personal calendar address and add it to Outlook, Google or Apple calendar. It holds only your tasks and open votes, with a reminder the day before a vote closes.
What is the This could be better button?
It sits next to every text written by AI. When you write what is wrong, everything the AI saw at that moment is kept, so the mistake can be reproduced and fixed.
